AutoCAD Block FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions
AutoCAD Block FAQs

Q: How will I receive the CAD block libraries & drawings after purchase?
You can download all purchased files immediately after payment is confirmed. A download link will be included in your order receipt, and a copy will also be sent to your email address.
Q: How many CAD block symbols are in each library?
What you see is what you get. Every library includes full previews and close-up images so you know exactly what you're buying — no surprises. We believe in providing high-quality symbols rather than padding libraries with hundreds of unusable blocks.
Q: Are each of the blocks a separate drawing file?
No. Each library is structured to take advantage of AutoCAD's Design Center feature. Blocks are grouped by category into a single .DWG file (e.g., Chairs.dwg contains all chair block definitions). This makes it easy to browse, preview, and insert blocks directly from Design Center. If you need individual files for each block, contact us and we'll send you instructions.
Q: What version of AutoCAD are the block files compatible with?
All CAD block files were created in AutoCAD 2008 and saved back to AutoCAD 2000 format for maximum compatibility. They work with all versions of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT from 2000 to the latest release. Any CAD software that supports the .DWG format can use these libraries. Files are delivered as .ZIP archives — simply unzip to access the .DWG files.
Q: Can I edit or modify the blocks?
Absolutely. All blocks can be edited using AutoCAD's Explode command or the Block Editor. Customize them freely to fit your project requirements.
Q: How do I install the downloaded files?
After purchase, click the download link in your receipt or email. When prompted, choose to Save the .ZIP file, then extract it to a location on your computer — make note of where you save it. If you purchased a Design Suite, extract to your C: drive; the files will be saved under a folder named 2017 cadblocks, making it easy to locate via Design Center.
